MISSION:
The purpose of the Halau Hula ‘o ‘Olili’ula (Hula School of the Northern Lights) is to help educate
the Hawaiians and our non Hawaiian cousins the traditional culture and the spirit of Ohana.
We do this by our classes, workshops, culture events and performances.
Halau Hula ‘o ‘Olili’ula role is to help perpetuate the Hula Kahiko (Ancient) and
Hula Auana (Modern) which will include oli (chant), mele (traditional songs),
lole hula (hula apparels),'lelo (language) and mo’olelo (stories)
